Ultrafire installed and commissioned the fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems for the new Tauranga City Library and Community Centre, working through the build rather than arriving at the end of it.

That is the part worth knowing. On a new build the fire systems are threaded through the structure as it goes up — risers, cable routes, penetrations, zone boundaries — and a contractor brought in late inherits whatever decisions were already made without them. Being on it from the start is how the system ends up matching the building instead of being fitted around it.
